Chopped Strand Mat (CSM) is a high-quality reinforcement material formed by binding chopped strands using either a powder or emulsion binder. Offering excellent compatibility with a wide range of resins, this fiber mat ensures even distribution of glass fiber chopped strands and binder, which eliminates potential risks such as localized stiffness, binder spots, air entrapment, and density variation.

Designed for easy application, the Chopped Strand Mat offers outstanding wet-through and wet-out properties. It conforms to the shape of the mold without tearing, allowing for smooth and efficient hand lay-up and molding processes. Furthermore, our CSM provides excellent roll-out and air-release capabilities, ensuring high-quality and consistent results.

The mat also produces highly transparent finished laminates, and the tiny strand input reduces fibre prominence at the final laminates' surface to an absolute minimum.
